I chose Edgewater for my 40th birthday lunch when visiting from Hobart and I could not have made a better choice! The food, drinks and service were impeccable and we all had the most amazing time! I honestly can't wait to go back when we next visit the GC!
We had an amazing dining experience at Edgewater for adult granddaughter birthday. The fine cuisine and drinks were presented at a very high standard like no other establishment on the Gold Coast. My granddaughter was blown away with her birthday dessert so elegantly placed in front of her. Jen was so professional and looked us beautifully. Bonus points for the great location on isle de Capri.
Waitress was great! So friendly and attentive. The location and view incredible, and the food was some of the best I have had on the Gold Coast. Everything cooked to perfection and prepared with great care, and the flavours of the dishes... absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be back!
My family had dinner at Edgewater Dining on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation online, which was easy. We were sat at a nice table next to the windows, overlooking the water/canal. The gin & tonics are great, the service was excellent, and I cannot say enough good things about the food. I had the oven baked red snapper, and my friend had wet squid ink fettuccine. My parents had a steak and salad. The fish was SO GOOD and the sauce was so delicious I wanted to lick the bowl. Heaps of chorizo, fish cooked to perfection, just amazing. My friend's fettuccine was super delicious as well, she also wanted to lick the bowl. For dessert we split the pistachio tiramisu, and again, it was incredible. We dont live at the Gold Coast, but if we did, we would regularly visit this excellent restaurant!

The risotto was faultless, rich and creamy, the mashed potato was a pleasant surprise—different from the usual but absolutely delicious, bringing a unique twist that complemented the meal beautifully. Came here at night and instantly fell in love—the atmosphere is beautiful. The food is absolutely delicious! Definitely a must-visit spot in the Gold Coast.
Beautiful layout. Lovely evening out with my husband. We were seated next to the water and it was the perfect spot. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with selection. Its one of those situations where you get what you pay for and whilst the food was priced on the higher end, it was worth it. We recommend trying the STRACCIATELLA with the baguette for a starter!
All I can say about this place is Wow!! I had the scallops to start followed by the signature dish of Prawn and Bug risotto, this risotto is the best I have ever had it was so creamy and full of flavour 👌 for desert I had the Eton mess and it also did not fail to deliver. Overall I would recommend this place to everyone. Note: main dishes are a generous portion so if you don’t finish it all you can always take it away 😁
Wonderful laidback venue set on the water just s hop away from the hustle and bustle of surfers. Relaxed atmosphere, and very friendly staff. But the highlight was the food. I had the sushimi platter. It was excellent. Fresh, tasty, and plenty of it. Highly recommended.
The squid-ink fettuccine with fresh crab, fish roe and a buttery lobster bisque was outstanding. Rich, layered and beautifully balanced, it delivered deep seafood flavours without ever feeling heavy—utterly moreish. The waterfront location is a gem, with the option to arrive by boat adding to the sense of occasion. A confident, well-considered menu reflects a chef clearly committed to quality and excellence across every dish. A standout dining experience and well worth booking.
